The single-player campaign suffers from a lack of depth: average AI, predictable storyline, short duration, and is mainly perceived as a tutorial for multiplayer.

Our opinion
Battlefield 6 finally returns to the spirit of the earlier games, whether in terms of gameplay, immersion, or even graphics, a welcome comeback after the much more controversial Battlefield 2042.
The game is beautiful, immersive, and offers smooth gameplay reminiscent of what fans have been waiting for.
On the other hand, the maps are generally smaller and less inspired than those in previous Battlefield games. Some also suffer from fairly significant imbalances, where the attacking or defending team has a clear advantage, which can make for frustrating gameplay.
Despite these flaws, the overall experience remains positive, especially when compared to the previous installment.
Other elements / Things to keep in mind
The game adopts a “live service” model: this means that updates, balance adjustments, and potentially new modes/maps will be added over time. For those who like to follow developments, this is a good thing.
Portal's “creative” mode: while it still has room for improvement, it could eventually give rise to a wide variety of experiences, provided that an active community takes it up.
Playing as a team, with communication and complementary classes, seems to be the best way to fully enjoy Battlefield 6. In offline solo mode, the experience will often be more bland.
Conclusion
For me, Battlefield 6 is a great comeback for the franchise: it has managed to recapture the essence of “big team-based FPS + vehicles + destruction + intensity” while remaining modern. If you're a fan of dynamic multiplayer games with good gunplay, thrills, and a wide variety of modes, it's definitely worth checking out.
On the other hand, if you're expecting a deep solo experience or an ultra-tactical “war simulator” style experience, this game may disappoint.
